Review the RFQ templates and examples
Reviewed what an RFQ is and the purpose.
Creating the RFQ and send them out to all related
companies. Then review the submitted application.
Next is interviews including review of proposed fee schedule.
Contract administration, finding general contractor, cost
allocation and reporting, essentially all project management.
Committee will make a selection.
Phase and cost to demo old building and how to use the
space.
-Discuss committee requirements for OP RFQ.
Discussed the pro and cons of the reviewed documents.
Contingent on the bond measure.
Need to control cost, if we are absorbed by a new school
district our taxes would greatly increase.
Collaborate to create RFQ for the building project.
Possible need to reach out to Walla Walla SD to ask
questions around the RFQ that was crated.
Will include that we are wanting a module build vs stick
frame. Will ask for examples of projects they are created.
RFQ will be crated and sent vis email by September 1 st for
committee review.
Committee will review RFQ at September meeting.
RFQ will be published by October 1 st .
Responses required by November 30.
Committee review submissions at January meeting.
Set interviews for February.
Answer any questions about Prefab options discussed at
previous meeting.
Create action plan for following month and schedule next
meeting.
